Uploading a Photo

Windows Phone 8 enables you to upload a photo from your photo roll directly to Facebook. To do so, open the Photos app and follow these steps:

1. Tap the picture you want to upload (as an alternative, you can also post a picture directly from the camera).

>>>Go Further: Facebook Tagging

When you get ready to upload a photo to Facebook, it is possible to tag the people shown in the photo. If the photo contains one or more people, the phone automatically draws a rectangle around each face. Just beneath the rectangle is a tag that reads “Who’s This.” If you tap this tag, you have the choice of either typing a name or selecting a name from your Facebook contacts.

Every once in a while, Windows Phone 8 devices might not properly detect that there are faces shown in a photo. In this situation, you can tap the Add Tag icon and then tap the face in the photo. Windows then allows you to either manually enter a name or choose a name from your Facebook contacts.
