The German car manufacturer, Audi, has made significant changes to the second generation of 2013 Audi Allroad.
Rumor has it, the new Allroad will be available to purchase in early
2014 and it may make its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show Auto
Exchange in September 2013. The Audi Allroad is basically a modern and
well-equipped SUV that has been well-known for its capability to detect
objects in the blind spot area. For the 2014, Audi Allroad may receive
a minor power increase for diesel-powered models and a slight shuffling
of features. This promising car will be available in three different
trim levels namely Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige model.
Interior
Inside the 2013 Audi Allroad, you may expect for the
standard interior features of its predecessor such as 8-way power front
seats with heating and four-way lumbar, leather upholstery, a
tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a sliding or reclining split
second-row seat and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There will be also
some advanced electronic features including Bluetooth phone and audio
connectivity, driver memory functions, Audi Connect with enhanced
Web-based navigation, information and Wi-Fi access, a navigation system
and a Bose surround-sound audio system with HD radio and DVD audio
capability, an 11-speaker sound system with console-mounted 6-CD
changer, in-dash single-CD player, satellite radio and an iPod audio
interface.
Exterior
Towards the exterior styling and features, Audi Allroad
equips the standard 18 inches alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, roof
rails, a power lift-gate with programmable opening angle, heated
mirrors, automatic rain sensing wipers and dual-zone automatic climate
control. The ALLROAD Premium Plus trim adds adaptive xenon headlights,
LED running lights, a panoramic sunroof, a rear view camera, front
parking sensors, auto-dimming and power-folding exterior mirrors. The
TDI Prestige model includes 20 inches alloy wheels, cornering lights,
keyless ignition/entry and a blind-spot warning system.
Engine
In terms of overall performance, the 2013 Audi Allroad is
powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine that can generate 280 hp and
295 lb-ft. of torque with an 8-speed automatic transmission and
standard all-wheel drive system. The Allroad can sprint from zero to 60
MPH in approx. 6.9 seconds and the estimated fuel economy for Allroad
stands at 16 mpg city or 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined. You may
also choose the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 engine that will deliver 240
hp and 406 lb-ft of maximum torque.
Price
The price range of 2013 Audi Allroad will be ranging from $48.600 – $65.450 (cheaper than 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition).
