The 2013 McLaren 12C GT Sprint is actually the only street-legal super car in the United States with more than 500 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. The latest model of GT SPRINT is one of the fastest cars that ever showed up of American soil featuring the redesigned front and rear diffusers, brand new rear spoiler, result in a 40 percent reduction in aero drag and a 60 percent increase in down force.

Interior

The interior of 2013 McLaren 12C GT Sprint has been designed to be luxurious and functional as well. The cabin comes equipped with leather materials and aluminum accents which have been positioned in an asymmetrical layout as a way to increase the driver’s visibility. This super car also provides a set of custom-fit luggage and two trunks in the front and rear. Other standard interior features are an LCD monitor, rear view camera, steering-wheel with quick-release feature and a 240 mph speedometer.

Exterior

Towards the exterior features, GT Sprint comes with the body which is made from carbon fiber-reinforced with plastic and aluminum honeycomb over steel space frame. There will be also the different diffuser/rear spoiler package and reshaped front fenders to enhance the car’s aerodynamic contours. For the wheels, this extreme hyper-car has been included with a forged aluminum 19 and 20 inches wheels along with the superb front and rear tires. There will be also the unequal double wishbones suspension with coil-over aluminum dampers and anti-roll bar system. In terms of sizing, the car measures 188.8 inches in length, 41 inches in height, 78.4 inches in width and the curb weight of about 2950 lbs or 1338 kg.

Engine

This super sport coupe is powered by a twin turbo V8 engine with 7000 cc displacement and Dry Sump Lubrication system. When using the standard 6-speed transaxle manual transmission, this engine will allow GT Sprint to sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. At 6.300 rpm, this V8-powered engine will produce 750 hp (faster than 2013 Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG) and 700 lb-ft. of torque at 4.800 rpm. The company claims that this car will come with the average top speed of 248 mph or 399 km/h and this clean engine will offer an extensive emission control system and it is compliant to OBD-II standards.

Price

The price of 2013 McLaren 12C GT Sprint will be starting from $425.000. As a matter of fact, that’s actually $100.000 less than an Enzo and about $300.000 fewer dollars than the Maserati.
