2014 BMW X3 – BMW automaker insists on calling it a Spot Activity Vehicle instead of 5-passenger Compact SUV. However, with its dynamic nature, responsive road performance, and satisfying fuel economy, this X3 has proven itself of being a leading sport vehicle of any BMW line up, even beaten up the widely known BMW 3-series sport sedan. as sport car, you can’t expect of seeing its rugged style, instead you’ll get all the meager and wicked profile with many of luxurious elements and features offered just like many of its rivals do including Mercedes-Benz GLK Class, Audi Q5, and Infiniti EX.

Exterior

2014 BMW X4 doesn’t have any major changes for the design this year. It just provides you with more upgraded technology packages and features to support the performance. Therefore, you still can get that aggressive look of the compact crossover that built from smoothly contoured sheet metal, where this sport vehicle showing its class. The kidney grille is still adorning the front part, looking more conservative yet still impressive. On the rear side, small LED-lit tail lamps are settled, like those on a 5-series or 3-series sedan. The last, it is completed with twin exhaust pipes that neatly located under the lower left fender.

Interior

BMW is very good in its interior. That’s what you will not miss from the X3. Premium materials and floods of user friendly technology features are provided for you, though many of them require more budgets of course. A large 19 cubic feet of rear storage room also could be yours, when a total of 55.6 cubic feet could be afforded if you fold the rear seats. Front sport seats with thigh and aggressive bolstering is much recommended for you to support long-distance driving.

Engine

Powertrain comes from a 2.0 L turbocharged 4V engine with 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, as the replacement of the previous V6 engine the 4V one seems to give more torque and better fuel economy. The higher trim of 2014 BMW X3 gets a 3.0 L turbocharged V6 engine that produces 300 hp and lb-ft of torque. Both engine are transmitted through an 8-speed automatic transmission and configure in all-wheel drive as standard. Fuel economy is amazing for the X3, thanks to the engine start/stop feature that allows the vehicle to shut down the engine when it is stopped and directly restart when the driver’s foot is taken off the brake pedal.

Pricing starts from over $40,000 and could reach up to $60,000 for optioned up higher trim.
