2014 Porsche Macan – Taking its name from Indonesian word’s tiger, this upcoming SUV from Porsche is expected to be strong and has a great performance just like what a tiger should have. 2014 Porsche Macan will become the successor of the outgoing Porsche Cayenne which its production will start this year under the working name Cajun (which is believed that stands for Cayenne Junior), and will start its first debut at Los Angeles Auto Show this November, but the sale period will be in next year’s spring.

Exterior

2014 Porsche Macan’s dimension will be smaller than the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera, but the performance and technology will bring it to the top of Porsche’s line up in SUV segment. All Porsche’s characteristic will be found here, including agility, lightweight, easy handling, and attractive design. The Macan will be almost the same with Audi Q5 since it shares the same platform. Distinctive and bigger 19-inch and 20-inch wheel is the only thing that distinguish both small SUV. The exterior part of this SUV has faced such a big change compared to the Cayenne, but still in nicely minimalist design. The front end has the same headlights that are commonly used in Porsche’s line up, and the air intake is alike with the Cayenne. On the back end part, it still used the Cayenne’s taillights and somehow it looks odd and does not match the design.

Interior

The interior of 2014 Porsche Macan also receives a new taste. Sporty seats will be placed in the cabin, while distinctive steering column and Boxster-like dashboard also adding a different atmosphere inside. Panamera’s elements are also seen completing its interior line up, including it sporty buttons. Over all, both from the exterior and interior look is better than the Cayenne, you could imagine that Macan is a shrunken version of Cayenne or a raised up form of 911. There will be much more information to be unveiled right after the production is finished, you just need to be little more patient to wait for the moment to come. This car interior is more sophisticated than 2014 Kia Forte Koup, 2014 Fiat 500X, and 2013 Cadillac Elmiraj.
