2015-2016 New Cards List For You (Part 24)

Maserati Ghibli

Base Price $68,000-$78,000*

Body Type Sedan

Unchanged There are no changes in store for Maseratis entry- level Ghibli sedan, heading into its second year of production. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, with a choice of two twin-turbo V-6 engines, rear- or all-wheel drive, and a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. Smaller and sportier than the full-size Quattroporte, the Ghibli's starting price is also less expensive, bringing new buyers to the brand.

Cool Fact The Ghiblis engine is built by Ferrari.

Unchanged A new Mazda2 subcompact is on the horizon, possibly arriving for the 2016 model year. Though we won't get the Skyactiv diesel engines in the U.S. market, the latest Mazda2 will be far more efficient than the current car, which has a low price point and a sparse but not cheap interior. The outgoing Mazda2 arrived on our shores as a 2011 model.
