Old faithful is back! Bigger, brighter and even more
badass than ever!
Once
again the town of Peterborough was descended upon by thousands of top quality
motors for this year’s Nationals. Now into its 11th year, the show is bigger
than ever before, and this year didn’t disappoint! The crappy weather on
Saturday morning didn’t put many off either! Pulling on your welly boots and
grabbing your brollies meant you got to wrap your peepers round some of the
finest modded motors the UK has to offer. The main hall was split up into
different sections making sure there was enough eye candy to keep you lot
entertained all weekend. The Jap Power area contained some seriously heavy
weight motors including a rather tasty looking 350Z rolling on a set of Bentley
rims, very posh! The French section didn’t disappoint either with a hand full
of fully loaded Peugeots and an awesome little Saxo decked out on banded
steelies. Of course no show would be complete without a good dose of German
motors. The Deutschland area was packed with Dubs, Porsches and Beemers. Our
mate Lex bagged himself a first place win with his Mini, keep an eye out for a
full feature soon!

The
main centrepiece to the show was the Dodo Juice-sponsored Ultimate 16 area. The
best of the bunch from all over the UK were here including some past, present
and future FC cars. Show whore Jay Golinsky rolled up with his ex-cover
Peugeot, alongside Jake Harris in his Seat complete with its fresh new paint.
Claire Miskelly is a regular at the show and once again reinvented her S2000. It
didn’t end there though and outside you lot had been hard at work polishing,
waxing, cleaning and stancing your motors in prep for this year’s show. The
quality was top level and clubs from all over had turned out in force. For
those of you who love your Yank motors there was plenty to please. The
showground was shared with the Hot Rod & Custom show which meant that for
one great price you were treated to two shows, bargain
