Change Text Size

  1. Click the Home tab.

  2. Select the text you want to resize.

  3. Click the arrow on the Font Size tool.

  4. Move your pointer over the sizes, and they are previewed on the selected text.

  5. Click a size to apply it.

Not each size of the simple font is available on the list of size of the police. Only the sizes very much used generally are included. If you find need yourselves a size between presetting those, you can also type a size, such as 100.13, or 30, in the box of size of the font to apply it.

Tip

Do not make the font so small that it is difficult the lira. Moreover, note that as you add the text to a text of waiting, the sizes of the font could narrow to adapt in all the text. Apply Effects to Text

  1. Click the Home tab.

  2. Select the text you want to format.

  3. Click any of the following buttons to apply that format to the selected text:

    • Bold

    • Italic

    • Underline

    • Strikethrough

    • Shadow

  4. Click the arrow on the Character Spacing button.

  5. Click the spacing you prefer, from Very Tight to Very Loose. Very tight spacing pushes letters close together; very loose spacing places them farther apart.

To create custom character spacing, click the More Spacing option on the Character Spacing list. In the Font dialog box that appears, on the Character Spacing tab choose Expanded or Condensed from the Spacing list, and then specify by how many points this effect should be applied. Click OK to save the new setting.

Tip

Character spacing is also known as kerning. On the Character Spacing tab in the Font dialog box, you can specify that the kerning you apply be used only for fonts of a certain size or larger by selecting the Kerning For Fonts check box and selecting a font size.

Tip

You can apply multiple effects to text, such as bold plus italic plus shadow, but don’t go overboard, or you’ll make the text too busy to read!
