The brand new 2014 Vauxhall Insignia is the upcoming sport sedan from the company that will be made available to purchase at the end of this year in United Kingdom. The Insignia sedan is also the most powerful production car ever to come into sight from Australia. The company confidently claims that Insignia is basically a compact sports car that will ideal for passionate band of customers out there who want to drive something which is special, unique and having a great performance.

Interior

Inside the cabin of 2014 Vauxhall Insignia, there are several interior design modifications which include upgraded instrument panel with suede-style inserts, brand new instrument cluster, gauges and center console. This car also offers the all-new Insignia Performance Seats which have been wrapped in Onyx leather trim and these seats have been equipped with an eight-way electric adjustment and seat heaters for front passenger and driver.

Exterior

Regarding the exterior features and styling, you will notice that 2014 Vauxhall Insignia has new front grille and fascia along with the new front-end design with bold graphics and shallow ramp angles. Other standard exterior features of this sedan are 20 inches alloy wheels, Conti performance tires, rear distinctive LED tail lamps, AP 6-piston disc brakes, rear diffuser shrouding quad exhaust pipes and a body-color sporty rear spoiler. There will be also the high-tech features included in this car such as magnetic ride control, electronic power steering and brake torque vectoring.

Performance

Under the bonnet, the all new Vauxhall Insignia is powered by a supercharged 6.2 liters LSA V8-based engine. When using the rear-wheel-drive system and 6-speed manual transmission, the Insignia will produce 576 hp and 545 lb-ft. of maximum torque. The 6-speed automatic is optional transmission and it also comes with oil cooling system and twin-plate clutch features. The automaker claims that by using this kind of engine, the car will be able to accelerate from 0-60 in about 5 seconds with top speed of 155 MPH respectively. The LSA features of this engine are stand-alone water to air charge cooling system, water to oil engine cooling system and high-flow exhaust manifolds and exhaust system with bi-modal silencers.

Price

The price range of 2014 Vauxhall Insignia will be starting from £54,999 in the United Kingdom (U.K) or about $83,000 for the U.S and worldwide market. It is little bit cheaper than 2014 Honda S2000. The tough competitors of this sport sedan are the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG and BMW M5.
