2014 Porsche 911 Turbo – Not long after the media catching the new generation 911 turbo’s road test, this Stuttgart-based company finally throws official details of the new Porsche 911 turbo for 2014 model year. Scheduled to ready on dealers in September 2013 with base price of $149,250, the new generation 911 Turbo seems to have no major changes compared to the previous 911 Turbo. Exterior

One Significant update made by the company is Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) feature that complete its exterior look. The PAA includes folded three-stage front spoiler and distributable rear wing with adjustable wing positions. It also receives new chassis with 100 mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor. Standard 20-inch wheels are now available with PCCB ceramic breaks and PDCC active roll system that featured in Porsche 911 Turbo for the first time. The new 911 Turbo will come with new front fascia, redesigned headlamps, and larger air intakes. Upgrade’s made also result in new full-LED headlights on its front part completed by four-point daytime running lights, and dynamic beam control which based on camera. Upgrades also made to the rear side, where new taillights and four tailpipes exhaust system are equipped there. To improve its stability at high speed and aerodynamics side, 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo also featured by fixed rear wing.
Interior
Unlike the exterior design which just received some updates, the interior of 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo has more improvement. Starting from the material used to the extended interior features. Today’s 911 Turbo is equipped with Bose sound system as its standard features, while Burnester sound system is also available as another alternatives.
Engine
2014 Porsche 911 turbo is equipped by 3.8 L V6 direct-injection engine as its powertrain. It will deliver 520 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque through seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), which likely become the one and only transmission available for the new 911 Turbo.
