This truck has no name, no identity.  What was once a vision by its previous owner has now turned into nothing more than a pristine example of an unfinished dream.  In fact, this truck doesn’t even exist anymore and it may be the last time most people will ever see it this way. So in reality, this article is more of an obituary, a homage to the creation of Mike Kendall, its original builder, and a preview of what’s to come after Joshua Robinson, the new owner, has his way with it.

This truck has no name, no identity

Both Mike and Joshua are Aftermath members, and they live by a standard of quality over quantity, and Mike knew what was to be expected when he started building this Ranger. Starting out with the basics, he built a full frame to fit 20s and a small-block under the hood, and body dropped 6 inches to the doors. To add a further degree of difficulty, Mike also created a bed floor that is 21 inches deep. While he was at it, why not add a factory GT40 dash and gauges to the interior. The “basics”, right?

And then life happened. For many people, the selling of their pride and joy is often accompanied by the knowledge that there’s a good chance it will be destroyed or ruined.  Fortunately enough for Mike, Joshua decided that this truck was just too good to let someone outside of the club have it. At the age of 21, Joshua’s ability to churn out awesome rides has already been proven with several projects already under his belt, including a certain Chevy full size ‘bodied on 28s nicknamed “Insinerate.” Now with Joshua taking the reins, you can be sure that what lies in store for this Ranger will be nothing short of jaw dropping.

We could go on and on about what this truck is, was, and will be once all is said and done

We could go on and on about what this truck is, was, and will be once all is said and done.  I could tell you more about the plans for the motor and paint, but we’ll save that for later. For now, let’s all pay our respects to Mike Kendall’s creation, and what it inspired. Nameless, yet never forgotten.
