2013 Bertone Jet 2 Concept – Together with the launching of Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake Jet 2+2 Concept at 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Bertone also has prepared for another Aston Martin’s Shooting Brake Concept based on the Aston Martin Vanquish car called Bertone Jet 2. It may sound familiar since Bertone Jet 2 is not the first Jet 2 made by Bertone. 2013 Bertone Jet 2 Concept actually is the successor of the first generation Jet 2 which once introduced for the first time in 2004 based on Aston Martin Vanquish’s first generation. The last concept car it self was not made to the production version, it was retained instead and updated for this year’s Geneva Motor Show. These two concept car’s launching is also intended to celebrate this Italian Design House’s 60 years collaboration with the British Automaker, Aston Martin.

Exterior

It is clear that the new Bertone Jet 2 will become the Firm President’s, Lily Bertone, personal car. Compared to the first concept, today’s Jet 2 concept has been given more up to date design language and technology in the shooting brake model of Aston Martin Vanquish. 2013 Bertone Jet 2 Concept receives new exterior color, a unique bronze paint job. The rest details of the exterior design also have been given more updates, even completely changed, and fitted with the new form and style. Over all, the modernization given to the latest Jet 2 concept has made it a stand out another version of the Vanquish.

Interior

2013 Bertone Jet 2 Concept also gets updates for the cabin. The addition of new and luxurious trim will be featured inside. Lavish image of the concept also enhanced by the premium material used there, including first-class leather made from fellow Italian Company, Foglizzo. Since it is a shooting brake version of Aston Martin Vanquish with extra cabin provided by its increasing 210 mm of length, the cabin will afford to take 4 occupants at once by the 2+2 seating arrangement. Both Bertone and Aston Martin have not confirmed whether the Jet 2 Concept will be made in production version or retained again instead like the previous Jet 2 and solely become the one and only unit for the Bertone’s president.
