2013 Kia Rio is a subcompact vehicle which is available as a 4-door sedan and a 4-door hatchback. This car will be also available in three trim levels namely LX, EX and SX. As a matter of fact the car has become among the best subcompact vehicles that everyone in the world can buy since its redesign last year. It begins with the car’s styling which isn’t just gorgeous but also manages to avoid the awkward proportions associated with other small sedans.

Interior

Towards the interior, the cabin of 2013 Kia Rio offers the restrained yet classy design that may evoke the German vehicles. The EX and SX models actually come with the higher-quality cabin materials and near-luxury levels of equipment. In the subcompact segment, Rio can also be considered as the finest since it comes with soft-touch surfaces, armrest cushioning and attractive metallic accents at the upper trims. The car also provides the adequate and comfortable spaces for both driver and passengers. Even the tall drivers can sit comfortably behind the available tilt-and-telescoping wheel while the backseat presents the very comfortable space.

Engine

The 2013 Kia Rio is equipped with the 1.6 liters 4-cylinder engine which can generate 138 hp and 123 pound-feet of torque. This is faster than 2013 Renault Zoe. The LX comes with the 6-speed manual transmission along with the optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The EX sports the Eco package that will add the fuel-saving auto stop/start system. The SX model will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 9.7 seconds which is apparently a second quicker than the class average. The fuel economy stands at 28 mpg city/36 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined for the automatic. The EX Eco package for the automatic bumps the estimates to 30/36/32 while the manual rates 29/37/32.
