Exterior

2013 Porsche Carrera S actually brings the same new design and shares most of its components with the standard Porsche 911 Carrera, but of course with both some design and mechanical improvements to distinguish. The new profile still has the elegant and quirky elements that has became the company’s mark for years. The dimension for the new Carrera S has been changed. It’s now lower, and longer in both body and wheelbase. Aluminum-steel composite material used to build the body has given a significant weight reduction up to 45 kg. Aerodynamic body structure is supported from its more rigidity and wider and extended rear spoiler. The chassis also gets advance technology to help the stability control with the new Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control System (PDCC) which is featured in 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S for the first time. The system will ensure the body roll reduction while cornering and result in maximum cornering speed and faster lap time.
