2014 Ferrari GTE Concept – It still confidential and the company has not made official announcement but the newest Ferrari concept’s image has been leaked on the media. 2014 Ferrari GTE Concept’s design is still handled by the famous and long time company’s design house, Pininfarina, and specifically designed by a man named Angelo Granata. This newest Ferrari’s supercar is claimed to be the next generation of Ferrari F70 or known as Enzo. Most parts of the design and sketch still show Ferrari’s characteristic and legendary design cues. The designer, Angelo Granata said that it has Ferrari’s classing styling cues, with soft rounded shapes rounded shapes that give the car an aggressive yet clean and modern look with a number of references to the brand’s heritage. Looking back to the history, all Ferrari’s design is considered the finest and this one surely will not disappoint us.

Exterior

2014 Ferrari GTE Concept has a streamline profile with low stance proportion of 4,650 mm of length, 2,030 mm of width, 1,080 mm of height, and 2,680 mm wheelbase. The design concept indeed still stick into Ferrari’s cues but somehow considered less, proven by another brand’s resemble and the lack of iconic element. In the front part, for example, we feel like look in to Lamborghini Aventador when seeing the F40-inspired dual-projector LED headlamps for short moment, and the notable F1-inspired nose that used to be in Enzo is now gone. Reasons made for these cases are something to distinguish from the predecessor and the removed nose is claimed to increase the car’s speed as the duckbill shape now supports the down force to the front axle and reduces the aerodynamic drag. Make sense. Many elements put as the GTE Concept details clearly taken from the old or other outgoing Ferrari’s line up. As we could see on the rear end of the concept, the combination of F12 Berlinetta, 458 Italia, and its predecessor, Enzo are doing great there. It is then copmpleted with adjustable spioiler that integrated with the body and quartet tail lamps, that is expected to not make it to the final design.
