2014 Infiniti Q50 finally has been released at 2013 Detroit Auto Show. As the successor of the retired line up Infiniti G37 Sedan and the first generation of the unique Q-nomenclature Q 50, the sedan does come in attractive manner, with all new and refined design. It seems that the Q50 wants to clear all the G37’s trace on it and set a new benchmark for the mid-size sport sedan segment and entry-level luxury sedan as well.

2014 Infiniti Q50 looks gorgeous and elegant in the new design. It clearly make its own signature and more dynamic and muscular look with that striking nose, which is more than ever, round bumpers, and elongated and unique headlamps housing. From the front part, the grille design is essentially the same like the G37 Sedan, but with more refinement that results a new look. Its sporty image is built by the G37 proportion, but with 33 mm longer length, long wheelbase and wide track dimension, dramatized by the fascia that is adorned by LED-infused headlamps and tail lamps. 2014 Infiniti Q50 also build aggressive bodywork from the flowing lines and contour that could support to yield amazing 0.26 drag coefficient with zero front and rear lift at speed. The company must work so hard to realize a sedan that has a look of strength, agility, and seductively mysterious as Infiniti Q50’s new design philosophy.

Interior

Inside, natural ambience is brought by Japanese art and cultural themes’ real maple wood decorated with aluminum accent. The interior design somehow gives a main focus to the driver with its user friendly instrument panel on the dash, enhanced seats and steering wheel adjustability, but it doesn’t mean that the rest passenger won’t get some. 2014 Infiniti Q50 not only offers luxurious with premium materials, but also ergonomic design that concern in your health and safety, and calm and peaceful cabin from its Active Noise Control System features. You will also be flooded by the sedan’s exclusive interior features that will boost your comfort and excitement during your driving, included digital touch-sensitive tablet, Infiniti InTouch Human Machine Interface (HMI) with dual touchscreens, Bose Audio System, and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

Engine

2014 Infiniti Q50 will be available in two models, the regular one with 3.7 L V6 engine with 328 hp and the hybrid version that will be equipped by 3.5 L V6 and Infiniti’s Intelligent Dual Clutch Control Package that will result total of 354 hp.

Price

The all new Q50 will start its selling this summer with base starting price of $37,500. Truly less expensive than 2014 Cadillac ELR.
