From Kia Optima’s first debut in 2010, the 2014 Kia Optima now has been upgraded with a restyled look – front and rear fascias, powerful performance and innovative technology. The Optima offers a different performance with a sharp and handsome look. The modification is not only from its engine and exterior but also it has a better package by providing a roomy and composed interior. This first updating for the Kia Optima absolutely makes it really challenges the mid-size sedan custom.

Exterior

Kia still remain the body of the Optima shell unmodified, while some improvements have made to the Optima, such as sharpening front-end look, revising tail and nose, and some new trimming highlight with LED lighting and new LED fog lamps, which makes the Optima standouts among other four-door mid-size sedan. The Optima is also provided by new 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome-accented door handles, and dual chrome tailpipes, which makes the Optima looks unique yet sporty. This car is look slimmer and sportier than 2014 Infiniti QX70 appearance.

For the inside, the Optima has been upgraded with new nice seat and simple dash layout. For the 2014 Kia Optima Limited model, Kia brought Nappa leather for the interior and electronic parking brake to simplify the parking process. With the UVO eService and 4.3-inch TFT display, it is easy to make a call or listen to the music only by using voice commands or just simply by touching the screen. HD Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and SiriusXM Traffic are included in this high-tech package as well. Engine

The Optima is integrated with a 2,4-liter four-cylinder that provides 200-horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. This is the most powerful engine on its level of mid-size sedan.This model is EPA city fuel economy-rated 24 mp and it is rated 35 mpg on the highway. The other Optima SX model is fitted with a 2,0-liter turbo four-cylinder, which is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. The SX appears with new Drive Mode Select feature. This feature allows driver to conform the accelerator sensitivity, transmission shift points and power-steering to fit your movements and your personal desire as well. The Optima also comprise with standard safety features, such as antilock brakes, electronic stability system and six airbags.
