A classic sport car is soon to be here! Porsche has set the new standard of being classic with its soon to be released car, 2014 Porsche Cayman. With a mid engine, this two-passenger car can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.1-5.4 seconds while the peak speed based on test is 175 mph. The Cayman is also fuel efficient. It has been proven that the EPA level of Cayman is 20-22mpg in the city, while on the highway it consumes more, about 28-32 mpg.

Interior

Inside, you can feel that the classic remains untouch. Unlike many new released cars that offer high technology with touch and voice command, you will find many hard buttons in 2014 Porsche Cayman. Not only that, the hard-to-use infotainment unit and swing arm cup holders are also there without a tiny bit upgrade. Despite so, you can see that the interior has stylishly improved compared to previous versions. The cabin looks good and feels comfortable with its 14-power adjustable front seats and because Porsche offers some color scheme along with its stand alone features, you can freely choose which one suits your character the best. The Bose Stereo which produces a clear and powerful sound is also one thing to add into your consideration. And for your safety while pumping up the speed, Cayman is equipped with dual airbags on the front, front knee, and front side head. Other features include tire pressure monitoring system and stability control system.

Price and Performance

The Cayman are available in two types: 2014 Porsche Cayman and Cayman S, while the price accordingly are $53,550 and $64,750. The standard one provides 275 horsepower with 6 speed manual transmission. But if you want your ride to be more powerful, choose the S version to get another 50 horsepower and have your heart beat faster with 325 horsepower and accelerates up to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. The S version also offers you an upgrade to 7 speed PDK. One thing to be concern of is the bill. By the way this car is more expensive than 2014 Kia Cadenza Price tag. Purchasing Cayman S may take $84,170 out of your wallet because you also have to pay the destination charge of 2900 lbs car from Germany to your garage if you decide to take the complete package or you can pay less if you just choose what you need from the list of stand alone features. You just need to remember that Porsche gives you the right to do so.
