Exterior

The teaser image of the next generation Volvo XC90 clearly shows the all new design language that is inspired from Volvo Concept Coupe which will be shown for the first time on Frankfurt Motor Show. All you find in 2014 Volvo XC90 is new floating grille that will be dominated the nose, completed by new headlights that feature T-shaped LED daytime running lights. The SUV also get a new bonnet design that simply features a flat surface with spiked areas on both side. Another Coupe’s concept influenced also found on its front end design with a pair of upkicked strakes featured bumper that apparently also found on the original sixties P1800 Coupe’s cow horn bumper. On the rear part, 2014 Volvo XC90 offers vertical lamp units that give a unique tattoo-like effect instead of a C-shaped LED tail lights that found on the concept. Also little different from the inspired concept, it gets bigger trademark Volvo logos and iron mark.
