2014 Mazda 3 Unveiled at Xbox Event

In order to celebrate the ten years anniversary of the Mazda 3 series, the company has unveiled the 2014 Mazda 3 at the Xbox Live event. Mazda announces that this event will be the very first in the world to put on air a live car introduction and concert internationally through Xbox consoles. For 2014, the Mazda 3 will be equipped with brand new electronic features which consist of a bigger display for the navigation system and a USB audio input for most trim levels. The all-new Mazda 3 will be offered in 2 body styles namely sedan and hatchback.

Interior

Inside the 2014 Mazda 3, you will have an abundant of high-tech and top quality interior equipments such as air-conditioning system, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, height-adjustable driver seat, CD player, 4-speaker sound system and auxiliary audio jack. There will be also the keyless entry, cruise control, automatic power locks, a trip computer, 10-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system and USB connectivity. In addition, the upper trim will boast a dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, rear seat center armrest, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming and a 6-speaker sound system. The Grand Touring (GT) model may include heated mirrors, 8-way power driver seat, sliding front center armrest, heated front seats and leather upholstery, Pandora audio streaming, HD radio and a 5.8-inch color touch screen.

Exterior

In terms of the exterior styling and features, the Mazda 3 will be included with standard 16 inches aluminum wheels, an optional sunroof and a blind-spot monitoring system. The upper trim level may have the more advanced equipments such as 17 inch alloy wheels, adaptive automatic bi-xenon headlights, upgraded brakes, front fog lights, LED tail-lights and the automatic rain sensing wipers.

Engine

Under the hood, the Mazda 3 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that delivers 155 hp and 148 lb-ft. of peak torque. The all-new Mazda 3 will sprint from stand still to 60 MPH in approximately 8.5 seconds. The expected Grand Touring version may come packed with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission as standard and a five-speed automatic as optional transmission. The GT model will generate 167 hp and 168 lb-ft. of maximum torque. This engine will allow Mazda 3 GT to accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in about 8 seconds.

Price

The price range of Mazda 3 2014 can be ranging from around $18.475 – $26.750 (cheaper than 2013 Audi Allroad).
