Exterior

As a sport car, lightweight is one important thing for 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder. That’s why carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) monocoque, interlocked with CFRP unit carrier is used as main material for its structure. The super car then gets a nice stability and lightweight, as well as protection for passengers in the cabin. Its exterior design is typical of Porsche, with that sloped nose and sleek roofline with special two-piece Targa material that gives you chance to drive on the open air. Its distinctive design appears on its shapelier headlights and less bloated front bumper than other Porsche’s line ups. Move to the back seat, it receives a large dual-pedestal spoiler that makes it get more down force. Here, you will se another distinctive design of 918 Spyder that will not be seen on other Porsche’s line up which is given by its taillights. The only and interesting change made from the concept car is the passenger’s side-exit axis that has been moved to the top of the car.
