Chris
Pine, who recently starred in Hollywood hit 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit',
has been named as the new face of men's fragrance Armani Code and will star in
a new set of Spring 2014 campaign images which have yet to be unveiled.
Previously fronted by several other big name stars such as David Beckham
and Cristiano Ronaldo, Pine is certainly in good company and this marks a
move for the actor as he steps in to the campaign world with his first major
contract. The actor has continued to rise to the top in Hollywood and this new
campaign may be the first of many.
Speaking
on casting Pine for the role, a spokesperson for Armani commented that the
actor has the personality they look for and he is also a great talent so they
believe he's a perfect fit for the new role. They say that he is a charming
person who is easily able to show off his acting skills when the camera is
running or just have fun and relax when it's not. They praised Chris and stated
that he is a very strong person that they think will suit the image they're
creating:: "Chris perfectly embodies the brand's spirit with his
strong charisma and natural elegance. Besides revealing great talent, high
versatility and the right amount of irony on set, his magnetic charm makes him
the ideal match for this fragrance."
