Skullcandy Crusher - Feel the beat

Skullcandy's Crusher headset literally lets you feel the voices in your head. Powered Sensation55 drivers (housed in each ear cup) deliver attacking bass, while undistorted, pure sound is supplied via separate custom REX40 drivers designed specifically for this headset. The end result: quality sound accompanied by superior bass you can feel.

Designed to replicate live concert sound, these babies were engineered to emphasize fit, comfort and durability. They feature a flexible headband, level- adjustable subwoofer, removable/replaceable cables, and collapsible ear cups. You also get smart circuitry that senses when the music has stopped, and turns off the amp automatically to improve battery life. Price: about $143.

Huawei Mediapad 10 Link - Power on the move

Settling for a mini tablet smaller than the 10-inch standard is one way of economizing. But there are alternatives: the powerful new MediaPad 10 Link from Huawei, for instance.

Its 9,9 mm thick metal unibody, weighing just 640 g, contains a 4-core CPU and 16-core GP running Android 4.1. Add to that an HD 1280 x 800 IPS display with full-view-angle and you've got a recipe for outstanding video.

Audio is equal to the task, mainly thanks to dual speakers and Dolby Digital Plus. The result is theater-quality audio effects even with regular headphones, says Huawei.
