Editing a Profile

Windows Phone 8 enables you to add or modify a contact’s profile information at any time. Any changes you make here sync back to the email service with which it’s associated. To edit a contact, open the People hub and follow these steps:

1. Tap the name of the person whose information you want to modify.

2. Tap the Edit icon.

Editing Restrictions

You cannot edit contact details provided from a social network such as Facebook or Twitter.


3. Make any desired modifications.

4. Tap the Save icon.

Adding Pictures

Windows Phone 8 automatically displays profile pictures for Outlook and Facebook contacts (assuming that a profile picture exists). However, you can also add a profile picture manually. To do so, just tap the Add Photo icon when you create or edit a contact and then choose a picture from the camera roll.
