Larger, or some people might say enormous light grille that is integrated to the hood, more squared-off bumper lines, new tail lamps, and three-piece bumpers that allows you to differentiate the trim’s visualization are some highlighted changes that makes the new truck receiving more of its attractive and athletic look.
Interior
The redesigning also goes through the cabin, making more difference on each trim level but with the same executive and premium feel. The interior equipment refinement included new dash, more user-friendly instrument panel, larger control knobs, and shorter reach distance between driver and the instrument cluster that makes more intimate feeling. The convenience does not just stop there; more comfortable and accommodating seats and long list of standard equipment also will increase your driving experience to the upper level. For you want another taste than the old trim levels, try the new 1794 edition. It gets exclusive western theme with brown premium leather trimmed covering the seats and accented by embossed leather and ultra-suede materials. The Platinum Crew Max model will be adorned by diamond-pleated leather on the seats, door, and instrument panel, accented in chrome on the seats and console badging.
Engine
2014 Toyota Tundra’s fuel economy may be come one and only drawbacks among all the premium features it’s given. But the powertrain and towing capacity surely won’t disappoint you. It starts from 4.0 L V6 engine with 270 hp which is transmitted by five-speed automatic transmission with downhill or uphill shift logic to the biggest one, to a 5.7 L DOHC i-force V8 engine that pulls out 381 hp and matched with six-speed auto shifter. 10,400 lbs of towing capacity is gained from the biggest engine line up. That’s why this car is more powerful than 2014 Nissan Titan.
