2013 Ferrari Sergio Concept is a picture of stylish and outstanding design of future supercar with amazing performance and driving experience. The concept is made in order to honoring Sergio Pininfarina, the late leader of Ferrari’s long time design house who helps the company getting those Ferrari’s legendary design cues for more than 40 years. The Sergio Concept basically built on the existing car but with distinctive and personalization design and intended specifically for particular Ferrari’s client. Here we can conclude that this future supercar may not be sent to your nearest dealer or will be produced in significant amounts.
Exterior
2013 Ferrari Sergio Concept’s structure will be made from the unique combination of carbon fiber materials with mixture of old, new, and distinctive design touches. It will surely make super car look stand out as the famous design house and the rest Ferrari’s line ups do. The futuristic design of its profile is enhanced by tiny half doors that put on the bodywork with unique 45-degree arc open angle, while some traditional elements are not used anymore including windscreen. The concept’s curb weight will be 2,800 pounds, shorter than the Miata, but taller and longer in wheelbase. The front headlights will be a LED with Plexiglas block that somehow reminds us with the legendary 1965 Dino Berlinetta Special. Another Dino’s element is also found in the 2013 Ferrari Sergio Concept including Deep Crimson color that also applied to Sergio. The company assures that the aerodynamic aspect has no more updates because it has the most advanced technology for that matter by using smart ducts and air manipulations that channels it above and beyond the driver’s head.
Interior
Look into the cabin, it indeed a 458 Spider’s simple and stylish interior with some updates and improvements. More carbon fiber materials will be found here, making it lighter than the 458 Spider. The light antique- effects leather is used for its upholstery including the 60’s and 70’s model of two-seat berchanetta which feel warmer and luxurious in bronze details and original titanium color. Aerodynamics concept also seems to take more parts here, proven by what it has done to the rear-view mirror and widescreen display of aerodynamics features.
Engine
Ferrari 458’s influence also still takes over until the powertrain (faster than 2013 Ferrari California but it’s slower than 2014 Ferrari Scuderia), but somehow the performance will improve since 2013 Ferrari Sergio Concept has better aerodynamic element and technology. With that fact, it will run from 0-60 mph in just under 3.4 seconds with top speed of 198 mph.
