2014 Porsche Panamera can be considered as the face-lifted version of the previous Panamera model. Panamera is a 4-door sedan with incredible performance potential while still retaining space for passengers and also a bit of gear thanks to its hatchback-like design. This new sport car will be available in standard and Turbo version and there will be some changes in its feature.
Previously, many Panamera models are offered starting from the basic Panamera and Panamera S to the Panamera 4 and 4S, the Panamera GTS, and then the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S. All of the models are actually the part of a growing group of fast 4-doors with less formal rooflines and a pronounced emphasis on performance.
Interior
The interior of the upcoming 2014 Porsche Panamera will be redesigned with the improved materials and the new technologies. As we all know that the 2013 Panamera model comes with the new Platinum Edition model which includes unique paint, trim, and equipment to yield a more custom appearance. The previous Panamera model is also known for its roomy interior. As a matter of fact, four adults will get plenty of spaces even more in the back seat. Those seats also flip forward, opening a cargo space that can provide adequate space to cart a couple of bicycles even without removing the front wheels.
Exterior
The exterior of 2014 Porsche Panamera will be revised. There will be the brand new headlamps and taillights along with the redesigned front and rear bumpers. The car may deliver the usual Porsche performance despite a long body and a long wheelbase.
Engine
Regarding the engine and transmission, the 2014 Porsche Panamera will get some upgrades in order to provide the better performance and improved fuel economy at the same time. There are rumors that the car may boast the current V8 engine in favor of a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine that will generate about 420 hp which is 20 hp higher than the current model. The 4S variant of 2014 Panamera may be swapping its V8 engine for a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. Rather than having 400 horsepower from the current 4S V8, this brand new twin-turbo V6 will produce 420 horsepower with much better fuel efficiency than 2013 Kia Rio and 2013 Renault Zoe.
Price
The 2014 Porsche Panamera is expected to be unveiled in April 2013 and the pricing has not been released. The key competitors of Panamera are Maserati Quattroporte, Aston Martin Rapide, Audi A7, and Mercedes-Benz CLS Class.
