2015-2016 New Cards List For You (Part 13)

Ferrari California T

Base Price $200,000*

Body Type Convertible

Major The Ferrari California replaces its previous naturally aspirated 4.3L V-8 with a new twin-turbo 3.9L V-8 for 2015, making it the first factory turbocharged Ferrari since the F40. Power increases significantly to 552 hp and 557 lb-ft. The chassis upgrades from the California 30 model carry over, with further improvements made to the steering system. The power-folding hardtop can be raised or lowered in about 14 seconds.

Look For More turbos in Ferrari’s future.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Base Price $330,000*

Body Type Coupe

Unchanged The mega-powerful 731-hp grand tourer stays the course for 2015. The optional Apple CarPlay system integrates some iPhone 5 apps into the infotainment system. You can listen to your favorite podcast while transforming the rear 315 section Michelins into white smoke. Rumors of a convertible model persist, but Ferrari remains tight-lipped.

Cool Fact The F12 was the most powerful car in the lineup until the LaFerrari.

Ferrari FF

Base Price $300,000*

Body Type Hatchback

Unchanged A hatchback, V-12, AWD Ferrari still sounds as ridiculous as it did when Ferrari introduced the FF in 2012. Ferrari says there are no major changes for 2015. Apple CarPlay will be available, allowing drivers to use some iPhone 5 apps through the car’s infotainment system. With its lightweight all-wheel-drive system and seating for four, the FF remains the most interesting Ferrari on sale.

Look For A long-rumored coupe variant to appear.

Fiat 500/c/e/Abarth

Base Price $17,295-$32,650

Body Type Hatch, convertible

Minor Those who wanted an Abarth or Turbo but couldn't row their own gears can now join the fun since the Aisin six-speed auto has been added as an option. All other 500s except for the 500e get a 7-inch display screen that doubles as a rear camera and shows important vehicle info, and an extra USB port has been added to the center console. The low-volume, all-electric 500e has an EPA-rated 87-mile driving range.

Avoid Driving up steep hills unless you're in the Abarth.

Fiat 500L

Base Price $20,500-$25,500*

Body Type Hatchback

Unchanged The 500L was new for 2014, so don't expect much for the 2015 model except for maybe the new 7-inch screen now in the 2015 500 hatchback. The rest of the lineup should remain the same, including the 500L's terrific greenhouse and corresponding visibility. The 500L uses the same engine as the Abarth, and although it provides plenty of power for the small hatch, it could use a bit more juice in this application.

Look For An all-wheel-drive model, possibly called the 500X.
