Unchanged Like other Buicks, the Verano receives an upgraded OnStar system for 2015. With it comes a new standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot with three-month free trial, after which a subscription is required. The standard IntelliLink system gains Siri Eyes Free iPhone integration and Text Messaging Alert. A new appearance package including a spoiler and silver chrome grille is available on 1SD, 1SG, and 1SL trims.

Major The sleek Cadillac ATS Coupe joins the party this year The coupe is wider than its sedan sibling, and comes standard with a 2.0L turbo-four pumping out 272 hp and 295 lb-ft, 35 lb-ft more than previously available on the sedan. All ATS models get a revised nose and more interior color choices. The ATS-V likely joins the lineup this year and may be powered by GM's 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6 making 420 hp and 430 lb-ft.

Minor The CTS was all-new last year, so most changes to the 2015 are minor. The CTS gets the new Cadillac badge, and now offers a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless phone charging capability. The big news is the new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, which will feature unique styling, a bulbous hood, and bazooka-sized tailpipes bolted to a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. Cadillac will sell 500 previous-gen CTS-V Coupes as a final sendoff for 2015.

Unchanged The Cadillac ELR was introduced for the 2014 model year and should continue into 2015 with few changes. A plug-in hybrid drivetrain allows for up to 37 miles of EV driving range, after which the four-cylinder gas engine kicks in as a generator. Cadillac's CUE infotainment system comes standard, offering touch-sensitive controls and integrated navigation.

Avoid Thinking about the price, as it's more than twice that of its Chevrolet Volt cousin.

Minor After getting a new twin-turbo V-6 last year, Cadillac has given the XTS just minor trim changes for 2015. With the livery market taking to the XTS, Cadillac has revised the rear seat armrest on upper models to give backseat passengers control of the radio and sunshade. Cadillac has also added a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to the XTS, ensuring those in back can always stay connected on the go.

Driver's Choice Hard to beat the XTS Vsport's 410-hp V-6.
