The PW50 is a kid’s bike with a 49 cc two-stroke single featuring oil injection and an automatic, single-speed transmission. Shaft drive reduces maintenance. Why buy used when $1,299 gets you a brand-new PW50?

Yamaha TT-R50E

Yamaha TT-R50E

The TT-R50E is for young riders who prefer four-stroke power and would rather shift the gears themselves. Its 49 cc air-cooled engine has a three-speed semi-automatic transmission and electric starting. A key-operated, handlebar mounted ignition switch prevents tomfoolery when an adult is not around to oppress youth. A single shock and inverted fork should impress knowledgeable parents.

The semi-double cradle steel frame comes with a detachable sub-frame and fully-adjustable 36 mm inverted fork and Mono cross rear suspension.
