Deleting a Contact
If you want to remove a contact from your
phone, you can do so by pressing the Start button, tapping the People
tile, and completing the following steps:
1. Tap and hold the contact you want to remove.
2. Choose the Delete option from the pop-up menu.
3. When Windows asks if you really want to delete the contact, tap Delete.
Synchronized Deletes
When you delete a contact, the
contact is also removed from any synchronized sources. For example, if
you delete an Outlook contact, the contact is also removed from the
Contacts list associated with your Microsoft Exchange mailbox.
