2015-2016 New Cards List For You (Part 27)
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Base Price $95,325-$224,625
Body Type Sedan, coupe
Major Following the smashing success of the new
S-Class sedan comes the new S-Class coupe, which replaces the old CL-Class
coupe. Unlike the sedan, the coupe will not include an S600 model. Both sedan
and coupe replace the physical keypad on the center armrest with a touchpad
that operates the entertainment system. Expect an AWD diesel model to return on
the sedan.
Cool Fact S65 AMG coupes feature a curve tilting
system that leans the car.

Mercedes-Benz SL-Class
Base Price $107,625-$215,425
Body Type Convertible
Major The SL-Class range expands with the new SL400
base model, which introduces a twin-turbo V-6 engine for better fuel economy.
The car is otherwise unchanged from last year and mostly unchanged since it
debuted in 2012. Mercedes-Benz's convertible lineup is rounded out by the
E-Class Cabriolet soft-top, the SLK-Class hardtop, and outgoing SLS AMG GT
soft-top.
Driver's Choice We named an all-black SL63 AMG
Torque Vader for good reason.

Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class
Base Price $44,450-$69,850
Body Type Convertible
Unchanged The SLK-Class remains completely the same
for the 2015 model year, and mostly unchanged since its 2011 debut. The SLK55
AMG is the only non-turbo V-8 Mercedes-Benz and the SLK250 is the only
Mercedes-Benz to offer a manual transmission. Look For the SLK to eventually
get a more powerful turbo 2.0L I-4 base engine as well as the new twin-turbo
V-6 as a possible upgrade option.
Look For A refreshed model in the next year or two.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT
Base Price $224,605-$231,105
Body Type Coupe, convertible
Minor Model year 2015 marks the end of the line for
Benzs gullwinged (and drop-top) supercar, which was easily the most dramatic
vehicle to come from Mercedes in recent years. The automaker will say goodbye
by releasing a SLS AMG GT Final Edition, with only 350 copies headed to the
U.S. The special SLS stands out with lots of carbon fiber and unique badges,
while the 6.2L V-8 still produces a healthy 583 hp.
Look For Its successor, the AMG GT, to arrive in
2015.
