The 2014 Ford Focus ST will be made available to buy in the spring 2014. This latest premium car is actually the third generation of ST series that adopts the swept-back headlights seen on the XTS and ATS models. For 2014, the ST will come with a brand new ladder frame as seen on the 2014 Ford Escort models. Additionally, the all-new ST will retain its solid rear axle as a way to enhance ride quality and durability as well.

Exterior

Towards the exterior styling and features, the Focus ST (smaller than 2014 Hyundai Sonata) will be manufactured with a boxy appearance, the bold signature Focus grille flanked by vertical headlights, the A-pillars that are similar to Silverado/Sierra, main headlamp fixtures, the chrome framing on the upper part of the doorframes, the mirror-like coatings in the lower intake gills, side steps and trunk plaque. There will be also the thin tail-lights near the roof, a belt-line that rises towards the rear, with smaller third row windows, the rear fenders that are more flared than the fronts, rear wheels with a wider stance than the front wheels and shorter rear windows as compared to other ST models.
