In terms of interior design, the 2014 Hyundai Sonata comes packed with several advanced equipments which include The cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-way power driver seat, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, reclining rear seats, auto-dimming rear view mirror, cargo cover, Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity, 6-speaker sound system with a touch screen interface, CD player, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod/USB audio interface. Under the bonnet, there will be a 2.7L inline-4 engine mated with either front or all-wheel drive that will deliver 181 hp and 182 lb-ft. of maximum torque. The standard transmission option is a 6-speed automatic transmission. Using this kind of engine, Sonata can accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in approximately 9.3 seconds. The estimated fuel economy of this family wagon is at 20 MPG city or 26 MPG highway and 23 MPG combined, while the all-wheel-drive version stands at 22 MPG combined. This engine has also been included antilock braking system and an electronic stability system. The automaker also claims that consumers may also choose the V6 version that will certainly offer faster acceleration and greater fuel economy as well.
