Engine

In terms of engine, the Shelby GT500 will be powered by a twin turbo 7.0-liter V8 engine with a rear wheel drive and quad cam system that has four valves per cylinder OHC. This stunning V8-powered 7.0L engine will be capable of generating the total powertrain of 1350 horsepower (faster than 2013 Kia Cadenza and 2014 Volvo XC60) at 9.000 RPM. Using this really impressive engine, GT500 can accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in a very swift 2.8 seconds. Also, it has been claimed that the top speed of SSC Tuatara will be at 275 MPH. As the comparison, the Ultimate Aero TT had a run of 256 MPH while the Veyron SS (Super Sport) clocked a record of 267 MPH.
