The homegroup that you joined appears in the Navigation panel of Windows Explorer. From there you can open the context menu

provide permissions and streaming capabilities.
You can modify a homegroup from within Windows Explorer using the Homegroup context menu.
Tip
Only one homegroup is allowed per network subnet.
Tip
The Basic version of Windows 8 can join a homegroup but not create one.
