2013 Porsche Carrera 4 – For some people who feel not enough with the rear-wheel drive vehicle, the all-wheel drive version is of course preferred. For the rest who love the all-wheel drive car but packed in unique and iconic design, then Porsche Carrera 4 is the answer. The new generation of Carrera 4 has started its debut at 2012 Paris Auto Show should be ready on your dealer since early 2013. Exterior
2013 Porsche Carrera 4 now become longer and larger. It is also 143 lbs lighter than the regular Carrera. Though updates is claimed to be done to the new generation Carrera 4, we still difficult to see the difference made since it still look the same like the 2012 model year. Take a look longer and you will see that nose is actually more wedged that the previous version, while the old and boring front fascia has been replaced with the new one. Wider air inlets also featured on the front part and the two side bars which used to flank the mouth is now gone, while the mouth it self now become narrower. Its redesigned body includes the moving mirror from the A-pillar to the top of the door. On the rear side, the illuminated taillight bar will greet you there, with three engine cooling louver which is one less than its predecessor.
Interior
Inside, 2013 Porsche Carrera 4 essentially still used the old interior design cues but with some updates including the sunroof, dashboard, and the instrument panel. The cabin is full of silver accents that result in more luxury image than the predecessor. New data screen in the instrument cluster will helps driver to know the power percentage that is delivered to the rear and front wheel. This is one of the prominent technology upgrades for the vehicle.
Engine
2013 Porsche Carrera 4 also have many improvements in its mechanical aspect. Starting from its 3.4 L flat-6 engine with 350 hp, it will run from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and reach top speed of 177 mph. standard transmission is seven-speed manual, while seven-speed PDK and Sport Chrono Package also available as your option. That’s why this car is slower than 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish.
