>>>step-by-step: Installing an App

Once you find the app you’re looking for, you can click or tap the app tile and the app opens on the screen. You’ll find out more about the app, see how users have rated it (and how many users have weighed in), and learn more about the app’s specific features. The information page also shows you pictures of the app in action. If you decide this app is worth a closer look, you can install the app and the Windows Store will download and install it smoothly on your Windows 8 PC.

1. Scroll through the app information and determine whether you want to install the app.

2. Tap or click Install. Windows 8 displays a small “Installing” notification in the upper right corner of your screen, and when the installation is complete, a notification lets you know.

The new app appears on the far right side of your Windows 8 Start screen. You can move the app to any group you like , and then just tap or click the app tile to launch your new app.
