The 2013 BMW 320i is actually the third generation of the BMW 3-Series compact executive cars from the company which now comes with more aggressive look. This sedan is the successor of the BMW E30 3-Series and it is also well-know around the world as the sedan with the dolphin shape. All of saloons, coupes, and estates have been added with the Z-axle multilink suspension in the rear while the hatchback body style is known as the E36/5 or BMW Compact series. As a way to save space due to its truncated rear end, the company has added a rear semi-trailing arm suspension to the Compact model based on the predecessor instead of the Z-Axle Multilink employed in all other models of E36.

Interior

In order to maximize space, the 2013 BMW 320i has been manufactured with the brand new interior that will offer a coherence and forward-looking aesthetic with the instrument panel’s straight-across orientation. Inside the cabin, you will have the slim and tablet-like optional widescreen display on its brushed aluminum or wood dashboard. The 3-Series models are made available in 3 different trim lines including Luxury, Modern, and Sport trim. Each of trim lines comes with the different materials and finishes. The Sport model provides blacked-out detailing and red accents while the Luxury trim has a glossy wood trim on the inside.

Exterior

One of the most notable exterior appearances of this car will be the aero-sleek nose which is very similar with the nose of BMW Z4 models. Moreover, you will notice that the car comes with a longer but lower roofline, more dynamic rising beltline, and sheet metal alongside the doors that helps visually lower the hood-line. This BMW 320i has been equipped with the current BMW-family front end which is better than any of the other models in the lineup.

Engine

The base engine of BMW 320i is a new 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that will produce 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. When this engine is combined with the manual transmission, the 320i can accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in a brisk 5.7 seconds. The higher engine version will be the 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder that can generate 300 horsepower (as fast as 2014 Acura RLX) and 300 pound-feet of torque at 1.250 RPM. Using the manual transmission, the six-cylinder model can sprint from stand still to 60 MPH in about 6 seconds.
