The 2013 Kia Sorento is a talented vehicle from the company that has been often considered as the twin brother of Hyundai Elantra. The carmaker has decided to carry out inclusive enhancements and provide the ground-breaking styling to this new car. This vehicle has made its world premiere at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. The Sorento will be made available to buy in two main trim levels namely EX and SX models.
Interior
In terms of interior features and styling, the 2013 Kia Sorento comes with a little less space for the occupants than before. The tall passengers will simply not be comfortable, however most adults and everyone smaller will get adequate space in the outboard seats. The doors are designed in a more passenger-friendly way and the cockpit comes with the higher-grade plastics. The EX model has been added with Uvo eServices with rear camera display, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio and cruise control buttons and a tilt-and-telescoping steering column. The SX model offers the seats with carbon-fiber-style accents. The optional interior of both models are the 10-way adjustable power driver seat, navigation system with HD radio, leather seating surfaces, S heated front seats and cooled driver seat and dual-zone climate control.
Exterior
Towards the exterior, the Kia Sorento (larger than 2014 Ford Focus ST) comes packed with a 106.3 inches wheelbase which is 2 inches higher than the previous model. Also, Kia Sorento has been included with a coupled torsion-beam rear axle along with the MacPherson strut front suspension. The Kia Sorento EX has been equipped with standard 16-inch alloy wheels, power windows and LED positioning headlights with fog-lights. The exterior features of SX version are the standard 18-inch alloy wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, aggressive front fascia with larger bumper and grille openings, larger front brakes, alloy sport pedals and LED taillights. The optional exterior features of both models are the HID headlights and sunroof.
Engine
Regarding the power-train and overall performance, the Sorento EX comes with a 2.0-liter GDI 4-cylinder engine with 6-speed automatic transmission only. This engine can generate 173 horsepower. The Sorento SX has the turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with a standard 6-speed manual transmission and the optional 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. This engine can produce 156 horsepower with the top speed of around 124 MPH.

The estimated price level of 2014 Kia Sorento will be ranging from around $45.800 – 56.750.
