The 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is actually an entry-level luxury sedan that has been added with a number of refinements which include powerful engine, high-technology features and more comfortable interior which makes the Genesis one of the luxury sedans from the automaker. The Hyundai Genesis sedan is available to purchase in two trims namely the 3.8 trim and 5.0 R-Spec models.

Inside the 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 model, you will find the heated mirrors, full power accessories, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front-seats, Bluetooth connectivity, 7-speaker audio system with CD player and satellite radio. There will be also the optional Premium package that offers leather dash and door trim, driver seat memory functions, power rear sunshade, seven-inch t-screen display and the impressive Lexicon 14-speaker surround-sound system. The Technology package includes premium leather upholstery, ventilated driver seat, more advanced navigation system with bigger 8-inch touch-screen display, upgraded Bluetooth phone functions with audio connectivity along with the 17-speaker Lexicon audio system with 6-disc changer. The Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec model has an innovative steering wheel and unique interior badge.

Exterior

In regards of the exterior features (more stylish than 2015 Subaru WRX, 2014 Toyota Camry, Kia Optima 2014, and 2015 Cadillac UP), the company has added the 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, LED running lights and fog lamps to the Genesis 3.8 models. The optional Premium package has the 18 inches wheels, sunroof, power-folding outside mirrors and automatic wipers. The Technology package can be equipped with the adaptive xenon head-lights, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system and advanced parking sensors. The 5.0 R-Spec trim provides 19 inches wheels, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, sport-tuned suspension and attractive exterior styling.

Engine

For the engines, the Genesis 3.8 model is powered by the 3.8-liter V6 engine that will generate 333 hp and 291 lb-ft. of torque. Buyer will only get the 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control that can deliver power to the rear wheels. This V6 engine will allow the Genesis to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds. The Genesis 5.0 R-Spec model boasts the 5.0-liter V8 engine that can produce 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. The Genesis R-Spec can reach 60 mph in about 5 seconds.
