OneNote provides a special file format for transferring notebooks between computers. The file format is called OneNote Package (*.onepkg). To transfer a notebook to another computer, first save it as a OneNote
Package file. Then move or copy this file to the second computer and
open it. When you open the file, OneNote converts the OneNote Package
file to a OneNote 2010 notebook.
