If you employ already Outlook to manage your database of contact, you can import your contact segments of Outlook in the magician of fusion and mass mailing quickly and easily. For example, a contact segment for a person or a company could contain an address, telephones, email address, and so on. A disc of article could contain the number of the part, description, quantity in hand, and so on. Information in each disc is organized by fields. The fields of the database correspond to the merge fields which you specify in the standard letter. The additional fields others that those to employ by fusion can exist, and will be ignored by the magician of fusion and mass mailing. For example, a piece of direct mail would employ the zone addresses in a disc because a merge field and is unaware of the field of email address for this disc, while a fusion of e-mail would make the opposite exactly.
Import Data from Outlook
- 1. On Step 3 of 6 in the Mail Merge task pane, click Select from Outlook contacts.
- 2. Click Choose Contacts Folder.
- 3. If an Outlook profile dialog box opens, select a profile, and then click OK.
The Select Contact List Folder dialog box opens.
- 4. Select the contacts list you want to use.
- 5. Click OK.
The Mail Merge Recipients dialog box opens, displaying the data source for the merge.
- 6. Edit the recipient data (if necessary), and then click OK.
- 7. Click Next: Write your letter on the task pane to display Step 4 of 6.

In the document, click the Mailings tab, click the Select Recipients
button, and then select the data source you want, and any related
options, if prompted.
