Windows 8 Tile-Based Apps : Music (part 2) - To create and save a playlist, To add songs to a playlist

2. To create and save a playlist

1. On the Music main screen, click the my music link to view your music by categories .

 You create a new playlist on the Music category screen.

2. Click the plus (+) button next to the Playlist link.

3. Enter a name for the playlist in the pop-up menu, then click Save.

3. To add songs to a playlist

1. Click the Songs or Albums link.

2. Select the songs or albums you wish to add to your playlist.

3. When you have selected all the songs and albums you want on your playlist, click the Add To Playlist button on the Apps bar .

 Select songs and albums for your playlist, then click the Add To Playlist button to add them as a group to the list.

4. Click the playlist name in the scrolling window .

 Select the playlist to add your songs to here.


Tip

To quickly search for a song or album in Music, press Image+Q and start to type the name.
