The company has unveiled 2014 Nissan Rogue as the answer for the high demand of new rugged cars in the worldwide market. For 2014, the car will get several additions which include a rear view camera, standard step rails, a 120-volt household-style power outlet in the front console, a sunroof, more advanced navigation system and rear-seat video system along with a restyled look inside and out. This newly redesigned car will provide several advantages such as spacious and functional cabin, responsive handling and easy-to-use cabin controls.
Interior
Inside the 2014 Nissan Rogue (more sophisticated than 2013 Kia Sorento), you may expect for enhanced air-conditioning system, cloth upholstery, a split front bench seat, a split rear bench seat, power windows and door locks and a CD stereo with premium 6-speaker audio system. The upper trim level will have upgraded cloth upholstery and door trim, power mirrors, an auxiliary audio jack and an in-dash 6-CD changer, front bucket seats, 8-way power driver seat, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, a rear view camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, an enhanced radio head unit, satellite radio and a USB/iPod connectivity. Also, the premium package will include heavy-duty battery, a lower axle ratio, heated extendable towing mirrors, front tow hooks, a Rockford Fosgate sound system and power adjustable pedals.
Exterior
On the outside, the Rogue will be equipped with 18 inches alloy wheels, cruise control, rear privacy glass, a sliding rear window, keyless entry, chrome bumpers, power outside mirrors, side step rails, tailgate assist, a receiver hitch and a seven-pin wiring harness connector. The top trim level will come with 20 inches alloy wheels, auxiliary transmission fluid cooler, step running boards, mud guards, automatic head-lights, heated power-folding outside mirrors with built-in turn signals and driver-side auto-dimming. The off-road package adds all-terrain tires, Rancho shocks, an electronic locking rear differential and heavy-duty skid plates.
Engine
Under the hood, the all new Rogue is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine a standard 5-speed automatic transmission and a tow/haul mode that can deliver 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of maximum torque. The estimated fuel economy of Nissan Rogue will stand at 13 mpg on city driving or 18 mpg on highway driving and 15 mpg on combined driving.
Price
The expected price level of 2014 Nissan Rogue will be ranging from around $32.500 – 44.500. The tough contenders of this new vehicle will be the Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Chevrolet Silverado and Toyota Tundra.
