Sharepoint 2013 : Automating tasks with workflows - Editing workflows - Edit an existing list workflow

Using SharePoint Designer 2013, you can also edit an existing list workflow associated with your site. This makes it possible for you to modify your workflows over time to support changing business processes.

Edit an existing list workflow

  1. Open SharePoint Designer 2013 and click Open Site.

  2. In the Open Site dialog box, enter the address of your site and click Open.

  3. In the Navigation pane, under Site Objects, click the Workflows option.

  4. Select a workflow on your site to edit.

  5. On the ribbon, on the Workflows tab, click the Edit Workflow button in the Edit group.

Tip

If you are first connecting to your site by using SharePoint Designer, you might be prompted to enter your credentials immediately after you connect to the site.
