Corel Painter X : Mixed-Up Media - Isn’t That Special (part 2) - Spraying Color—or Candy
The stroke does look like a spray of lines, and it behaves like members of the Airbrush category in a couple of ways. The spray is directional, depending on the tilt and bearing of your Wacom pen. The bottom of my Furry stroke shows that directionality.
Corel Painter X : Mixed-Up Media - Isn’t That Special (part 1) - Anatomy of a Brush
General gives you the most basic info about any variant. The Dab Type for this brush is Captured, which means it is an irregular shape or group of pixels, such as a small drawing. The shape in this case is a very thin rectangle.
CorelDRAW X5 : The X5 Test Drive - Using the Polygon Tool to Design a Gear Shape
The Polygon tool might not seem like it has features to automatically create a gear shape and this is partially true. The Polygon tool produces symmetrical shapes that can be dynamically edited; they can be dramatically modified and still keep a special base property.
CorelDRAW X5 : The X5 Test Drive - Setting Up the Page for the Logo
Although CorelDRAW can open a new document by default when you launch the program, you need to set up guidelines on a default page so the T-shirt logo design will print edge to edge on a sheet of inkjet transfer paper.
CorelDraw 10 : Resizing Objects
The handles that appear to the right and left center of the object affect the object's horizontal scale by making it wider or narrower.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 : Working with Web Page Tables - Changing Table Properties
When you create a table, it’s not just about what you place into the individual table cells; it’s how you format the table and the individual cells. When formatting tables, you can set properties for the entire table or for individual rows, columns, or cells in the table.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 : Working with Web Page Tables - Splitting and Merging Cells, Sorting Table Data
Cells can also be split or combined (also known as merged). Often there is more to modifying a table than adding or deleting rows or columns; you need to make cells just the right size to accommodate the text you are entering in the table.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 : Working with Web Page Tables - Adding Columns or Rows to Tables, Resizing Columns and Rows
As you begin to work on a table, you might need to modify its structure by adding more rows and columns to accommodate new text, graphics, or other tables. The table realigns as needed to accommodate the new structure.

Adobe Fireworks CS5 : Working with Vector Graphics - Customizing fills and strokes (part 4) - Adding to the skyline, Adding windows to the building
Selecting the compound shape is just a way to make sure you are adding the other shapes to the correct object. Once you choose the Rectangle tool, the compound shape is no longer selected. This is normal.
Adobe Fireworks CS5 : Working with Vector Graphics - Customizing fills and strokes (part 3) - Using the Compound Shape tool, Working with compound shapes
You have one last task for this file. Notice the skyline scene? The client has asked that the entire width of the design be filled with a skyline, so you need to add one more building.
